PR a La Carte is just a couple of days away and the PURE committee is thrilled to have secured some amazing PR professionals for the night! There is nothing more valuable than being able to chat away with people that have been in your shoes once, and now stand where you ultimately want to end up. The professionals we meet at PR a la Carte always manage to put us all in awe and we leave feeling inspired and excited – because our industry is full of amazing people with some great stories!
This years PR a la Carte is going to be an amazing night, with three fantastic PR-professionals attending.
Sharon Maloney is the Director of Spun Communications and an experienced public relations/communications specialist.
Her skills include developing and implementing integrated communications strategies; event management; reputation and brand management; writing everything from newsletters, advertisements, websites to media releases and reports, editing and proof reading, social networking strategy and much more.

Rhiannon Sloan is a Marketing Communications Coordinator with UXC Eclipse, a leading provider of intelligent business solutions to the enterprise and mid-markets. Rhiannon is also the chair for the PRIA Young Guns and is studying marketing and PR at Curtin. Rhiannon has during her 5+ years in PR worked for places such as PPR and the Strategist group and has developed a strong skill set including brand development, media relations, event management, direct marketing campaigns, website design and content, social media, copywriting and editing, research, crisis management and stakeholder communication.
Hannah Tagore has worked across the world for Prime Ministers, celebrities and charities. Beginning in entertainment PR, Hannah has worked on movies such as Love Actually and with Hollywood stars such as Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan, music legend Lionel Ritchie and author Terry Pratchett. She represented the interests of international shipping companies such a BP, Shell, P&O in parliament and the media before briefly working with membership bodies including the UK Royal Colleges. Hannah spent the last decade working for charity and has won 5 PR Week Awards, 2 Medical Journalist Association awards and Third Sector Charity of the Year for her work with Alzheimer’s Society where she ran a 30 person communications and campaigns team. She returned to Perth in January to a job she has always wanted to do, Director of Media and Communications for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
